Reinis Jaunais (LV)

Wild sounds of a tongue drum, Latvian traditional harp ‘kokle’, modular synths, and mad live looping on top of exceptional guitar skills – that is how you would describe the music of Reinis Jaunais, a well-traveled musician from Riga, Latvia. When watching his performance it might be hard to believe that there is only one person on the stage. Therefore his songs are a treat for the guitarists as they are made using distinctive guitar playing techniques – including fingerstyle, tapping, percussive, etc. Reinis has been performing all over the world for many years, bringing back many beautiful music videos from his trips and he doesn’t hesitate to share some fun travel experiences with the audience as well. The musician is about to release his 10th music album ‘Nest’ this summer.
